Competition Details

The 3D Math Competition

45 Mins to 1 Hr

This is a written competition with 3 parts.

Part 1 – Math Concepts
Part 2 – Math Application
Part 3 – Critical Thinking

All problems in a Grade Group only require knowledge of math topics of the lowest grade in that group.

The Art of Math Competition

Upto 2.5 Hrs

You can make a submission by choosing any of the titles & formats below.

  • Titles to pick from
    1. How Shreya fell in love with Math?
    2. The beauty I see in Math
    3. Why Arnav and numbers never ever played together?
    4. This big monster called Math
    5. The hidden math in nature, my favourite sport or art
  • Creative Formats to choose from
    1. A write-up, a story or a written skit (minimum 250 words)
    2. A poster or chartwork
    3. A drawing, a sketch or a painting
    4. A model or project

You are invited to bring along, from home, all kinds of creative material to make your entry stronger.

Children will be scored on their creativity, originality of idea and depth of work

Grade Groups

Contestants will participate in a grade group as below:

  • 3D Math Competition:
    • Group A – Grade 1 & 2 (45 Mins) | Group B – Grades 3 & 4 (45 Mins)
    • Group C – Grades 5 & 6 (1 Hr) | Group – D Grade 7 & 8 (1 Hr)
    • Students below Grade 1 are welcome to take participate in Group A.
  • The Art of Math Competition:
    • Group A – Grade 2 & below | Group B – Grades 3 to 5 | Group C – Grades 6 to 8

Prizes

The Best All-Rounder

Awarded to the student with the highest total score in the 2 contests

  • Cash award of ₹25,000 + 50% Scholarship for 12 months enrolment + The Best All-Rounder Shield + A trip to ISRO

Competition Awards

Awarded for EACH of the 4 grade groups in The 3D Math Competition and the 3 grade groups in The Art of Math Competition

  • 1st Prize : ₹2,500 cash award + Winner’s Shield + 50% Scholarship for 6 months + A trip to ISRO
  • 2nd Prize : ₹1,000 cash award + Winner’s cup + 25% Scholarship for 6 months + A trip to ISRO
  • Top 3 – 10 Prizes : Merit Certificate + 25% Scholarship for 3 months.
